There's lots of data on YouTube for home made SteadiCam's. Mine is just a compressed tripod, adding some wieght to the camera. As I say in the video, articulating SteadiCam's are better. My blender friend, Josh, and I are working on a home made articulating steadicam that we will sell on ebay for 150$ each.
