Round 1 of the 2008 Southern Ontario Sprints season. My first night in the new car. Things didn't go as planned. The water pump pulley failed on the motor before the first warmup so we had no practice for the night while we fixed the motor. This race was my first time in this car and my first laps on the track for the night. It wasn't bad but I did get lapped and in the end spun as the 10 of Bob Crawford spun trying to go around me. I was certainly trying to stay out of the way but the track was very narrow with a rough track above the cushion and that made things difficult.

We finished 12th out of 19 cars for the night, which isn't the best start to the season. But I'll take it.
