Every year, my friends and I go to a small local music festival called Truck Festival (because it's hosted by 'Truck Records'). When we first started going, only about 1500 people went. Since then it has grown and now about 5000 people go. In 2007 it got rained off and postponed from July to September.

Because it got postponed, the line-up changed a bit. I think I've labelled the bands correctly, but I can't be completely sure.

Yeah, it was nice we got good weather in the end. It was supposed to be in July, but the whole site was under a foot of water because of rain. We were worried it might happen again on the new date, but fortunately it was fine!

mmmmm....my kind of place....I can see myself being the old hippy dude when I'm older.....superb weather too....normally it rains at those things......did I see some special ciggies being rolled?....he he.....sweet.....wish I was there....looked good....I used to go to a festival every year in Eindovan in Holland called Dynamo - a 4 day festival that was awsome....some of the best bands in the world played there, but theys stopped it back in 96 because it got a bit out of hand....lol....shame that....Rock Am Ring and Rock Am Park in Germany were also good...they don't make em like that anymore...always too may cops - which spoils the atmaosphere a bit....kool vid..cheers.

It's great, we've been going since it started - and so has that old hippy dude - and I can see us going for many years to come. It's been going for about 10 years now, and when it first started hardly anyone knew about it - only about 1500. Now it's got more popular, but they can only fit 5000 on the site. Generally these days, more than that want to come, so it sells out straight away before they even announce the line up! But because only 5000 can come, I don't think it will ever get out of hand. Also, with the larger numbers (and ticket prices) they're getting in bigger and better bands each year.

Good question - I don't know if I can pick just one. Most of the bands in this video are good. I didn't do a very good job of capturing them though - I would tend to listen to the good bits, and THEN remember I had my camera at end of their sets. So I ended up getting a couple of seconds that weren't always very representative of how they actually were. I've always thought Fonda 500 are a lot of fun. Annoyingly some of my favourite bands that were there from the beginning, weren't there this year; like 'The Young Knives' and 'Finlay' and 'Marconi's Voodoo'. Some have stopped playing all together, and others have moved on to bigger and better things.

It is. In the beginning, it was our first taste of a festival. Now we're all older and on opposite sides of the country, it's a good excuse to get together again and get waste... I mean... listen to some bands!

Yeah, they have quite a range of music at Truck. It was a whole weekend thing - arrive early Saturday morning and leave on Monday morning.
