Ok, i've got an interesting question for you. When creating a blog, where segregating your file path is not an option, (for example "Ionisis.com /blog"), is it detrimental to your website if it exists within the same path, but uses a querystring instead?

For example, we do information management systems, and one of them is a Website Content Management System (WCMS), and it is a massive and complex ims, and allows for a multitude of categories and subcategories.

Recently we have been considering having a company blog, and placing it under its own category, separate from our services category, however this would still be the same file path ("/"), only using a query string with an article ID instead. What do you think of this approach?
