The BoSox and the A's kick off the 2008 season in style at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. Hundreds of U.S. service members stationed in the area were thrilled by the opportunity to see their favorite players so far from home. While preparing for this piece, I met a guy who was taking his teenage son to his first ever big league game, and decided to tell the story from their perspective. And I threw in a little stand-up to rub it in that I got to go out on the field. Enjoy!
