Shannon Falls - BC., Canada.
On the way back from Whistler to Vancouver (April 19th, 2008), I made a short stop at Shannon Falls near the town of Squarmish (after the Squarmish Indians).
Shannon Falls is the third highest waterfall in BC. and you can see it from the "Sea to Sky" highway. However, it's well worth a stop.
It's a short hike from the parking lot and the views are pretty nice. The cliffs rise about 335 meters or 1.000 feet above the highway. It's a popular spot for a picnic and you can access trails to the nearby Stawamus Chief Provincial Park where you could try out some rock climbing.
