Thanks, Sinlogo. No rotoscoping. I shot video for some of it (like the guy cleaning his glasses) and printed out keyframes (or like every 10 frames) and used them as guides, but drew my frames in graphite & charcoal on sheets of gray paper on a light table, inverting them in Photoshop to get the light-on-dark look. No video for the kiss, only pleasant memories....
