Yes, I am aware it's very "Film School," over-wrought and a little dorky. But it was more of an experiment in sculpting a nonlinear story out of fragments of unrelated shoots in order to weave together a history between two fictional people whose ambiguous and tragic relationship is left to the viewer to decide. Theoretically based in trauma/performance studies and structurally founded on the Surrealists's "exquisite corpse." Okay, fine, so dorky. Ah, youth... Shot with a terrible SD camera, but composited in HD720 splitscreen to first get past the stigma of NTSC, and second as a stylistic choice. Color corrected in combustion.
