I was sitting around not doing much, the weather was bad and suddenly decided to go and film the famous Oxford vs Cambridge university boat race. So I got my kit together and went down to Putney embankment which is where the boat race starts. Because of this I did not catch much of the race, but did get plenty of people shots which shows the atmosphere of the event.
This was shot on the fly, run and gun style with my Sony HVR A1E camcorder handheld with no support or tripod. It was filmed in standard definition with a Century optics wide angle lens attached and edited in FCP. Colour correction was done with a combination FCP colour correction tools and MBL.
