The lilting lament of your lute is quite entrancing - absolutely wonderful.
I followed your Delcamp link to find you.

Amazing: I found the same piece in a lyra viol manuscript a while ago and (being unaware of the lute version) transcribed it for theorbo thinking it would work really well on a plucked instrument and I would be the only person to play it! Not so! In the manuscript I have it is also untitled, but the composer is given: Stephen Goodall. The divisions are slightly different...maybe I'll make a recording too and post it sometime??
    Lovely playing too...

Thanks Sam. I'd love to hear your version for theorbo. Weirdly, I was contemplating a theorbo arrangement of it myself. Can you tell me which manuscript you found it in? Never heard of Stephen Goodall. The Panmure ms is dated c.1650-60.
