I'm not sure the shallow dept of field is always the best choice tough. Some of the shot would look better with the background in focus as well.

Dan, this was good work. You did some sharp focus-shifts during indoor scenes. The video came out looking good on Vimeo's highly-compressed playback, which means it had to be very well processed by you. I liked the narration and the grim message you presented in the subject. Hardworking, honest people, who are still slipping behind, economically. The rice they grow for themselves would be wholegrain and nutritious-----why do they buy milled rice to supplement it, that has lost so much food value? I look forward to viewing your other productions. Thanks for making this available for downloading. I always do this myself, as the picture quality is much better for viewers.
