I just got the DVD printed at my school's printshop, although now my roommate just bought a fancy printer that prints onto DVDs/CDs.

The music was actually made by the same roommate who bought the printer. He made it for this video specifically, I think. Also, he helped me design the whole identity thing. Aaaand he also filmed the video.

oh...and generally talking...how do u guys [Karen..u too]...basically come up with this
"art-concept" for something like this. u know..when u wanna give yourself a certain style or look that will identify you...how do u come up with those ideas for compositions? [p.s-fonts are tough to pick].

I think it's important to come up with something that represents you...I know that's really vague...but I have redefined my entire artistic Identity in the last couple months, so I would have an entirely different approach to my new Demo Reel.

It's definitely good to have friends who are Graphic Designs. What I did was brainstorm ideas in my head, and meet with my best friend who does Graphic Design and he helped me make my ideas more tangible.

Sometimes it helps when you brainstorm to just do word association of things that come to mind when someone sees your work..and then work off of that.

Then package it in something fun and creative...but also professional.

what i personally see is basically a slick, clean, cool design.
personally, im trying to experiment every time i make a video [with my name in the end]...-so i dont really keep an artistic identity. its kinda lame, i know :\

I made it all myself, by hand. Well, all except for the CD case itself, which I got here: sustainablegroup.net/

It took awhile, but I got it all streamlined and made about 16 of 'em.

Yours is pretty cool, too! I like the 16mm leader belt.
