Great video. I am really enthralled when you use both 2d and 3d in the same space. At 00:06, when your name in black pops out, and you have those sort of plants in the background framing your name, what program did you use to make the plants "grow" like that?

(For some reason when you click the time link, it doesn't get it exact. So, I am talking about the couple seconds right before the head drops.)

Hey, thanks for that. As far as the growing title thing, I did that in After Effects. Check it out there are some good tutorials out there.

Excellent work Ryan - if you're not going to NYC then maybe we should chat about possible uk based projects. We're a television production company - also now working on interactive projects.

Love all the snappy camera movement, the cutout business men, and of course that super bouncy character animation in the beginning. Good luck in the Big Apple!

Thats really cool, good choice of music too, what program did you use for the 3d modeling?
  • Ryan Fedyk 1 year ago
Thanks man. I used Maya for most of the 3d stuff. A little bit of 3ds Max. Mostly rendered with Mental Ray.

Awesome work Ryan! glad to see that 1st year 'still life' put to good use hahaha. If you don't get snapped up by a decent company there's something seriously wrong in the world ;)
