My son, Michael, wrote the outline and script for this. I offered technical assistance and moral support.

I thought it came out pretty well, and gives an overview of the basics, without trying to substitute for real instruction.

Yes, I know we didn't yell "Clear Prop!" I already knew the area was clear, but we should have done it, anyway, to build proper & safe habits. I wanted to do a re-take, but we didn't have time. Look for it in next summer's blockbuster sequel.

Powered paragliding is as safe as we make it. Never try to fly without first getting thoroughly comprehensive training from a qualified (and, preferably, LOCAL) instructor. Always pre-flight your equipment properly, and fly like your life depends on it. Remember that launches are always optional. Landings aren't.
