    Does one have to bank roll up for the Around the World - Ferris wheel tour? Or is it free? Only her hairdresser knows for sure. Are you sure you didn't employ a Manfrotto Modo Steady 585 for any of these shots? I don't believe it. Now tell the truth. Don't lie to me. Have you been step, step, step, step, step, step, steppin' outdoors with the steadycam? Are you sure you didn't use the Modosteady for every single shot in this video except for the very first one?

    I like the footage and the editing. Yes, good to see a Xacti perform well in less than bright light conditions.

    I thought the music in the middle, however, did not match as well as the beginning and end.

    Nice footage, welcome to the Sony Vegas 8 useres. Did you use a monopod or something like that?
  • na_du->da 3 months ago
    ... No, hand-held all the time. The modosteady stayed at home ;) again.
  • Fred Davidson 3 months ago
    If that is true then you don't really need the damn thing. Not for most shooting situations. You are able to hold it very steady. Is Nadu telling us a little fib? What do you think mos? You have more experience with the Modosteady than I do. If you are lying Nadu one of these days we are going to catch you. We will see Nadu's reflection, you know, carrying the camera and the contraption. We will see your reflection in the silver ball in the pool. And once we do, it is all over, we will know. I am warning you.

    Seems 'our' camera loves sunsets! In post editing with Vegas8 is your preview acting fluent?
  • na_du->da 3 months ago
    .. No, unfortunately not - not really, but better than anything else I`ve tried before, maybe it depends on my 2 years old notebook.

    Add the links of your flickr-pix under the edit page of your clip.

    Sorry forgot to ask you, the flicker photo's on the right I can't get them loaded on my pages? It doesnt seem to work. How did you get them there?
  • Fred Davidson 3 months ago
    It is under edit this page of your video page then on the left where it says photos you can add Flickr photos. Hope that helps!
  • Jan van der Meer 3 months ago
    no doesnt work. I wrote Blake but no answer yet.
  • Fred Davidson 3 months ago
    I wish I could help you but I don't know what to tell you except for what Nadu and I have already said. Under the video page in question, select the gear icon Edit Page or next to where it says Delete this page select Edit this page (they both do the same thing). Then you'll see a Photos button sixth down in the list on the left hand side. What exactly seems to be the problem?
  • Jan van der Meer 3 months ago
    Sorry Fred to bother you, these are the little things you have to think about deeply and that takes time (when you get older)! The problem was the settings within Flickr, those were put on privat! Now all ok, but in facto copyright has gone now. Please watch the result vimeo.com/1111418

    Bingo!
    By the way: My pix here on this page are video frame exports from the clip, done with Mpeg_Streamclip, a great little freeware tool for MP4 -> AVI converting pp. in the first place.
  • Fred Davidson 3 months ago
    I will have a look at it. Thanks.

    Bingo! Oh darn, Nadu called Bingo ahead of me. I got there too late. I'm glad you solved it Jan. No bother. Yours is outstanding work Mr. Jan van der Meer.

    Thank you and also thanks directing me to Sir Michael Yellowbeard!
  • Fred Davidson 3 months ago
    Michael Mileham is a force to be reckoned with isn't he? Although I don't think he should necessarily be called Sir Michael. That is unless you want to confer that title on him. If you do, never mind me, I won't stand in your way.
