Mother testifies of her horrible experience with Ontario's Office of the Children's Lawyer
5 months ago
A mother from Ontario describes her family's horrible experience with Ontario's Office of the Children's Lawyer.
She speaks of poor service, phone calls not returned and OLC workers who attempt to avoid accountability by refusing to give reports to parents. Her daughter feels that the Office of the Children's Lawyer has failed her and has not listened to her. A video of the daughter will be posted soon.
To avoid many of these issues, Claire Burns, the current Children's Lawyer of Ontario must take steps (such as requiring that interviews with children be videotaped) to help put an end to the abuse of a number children and families by her government funded agency.
