And I can appreciate it even more as I was there too a few years ago. That must have been that summer when we stayed near GORDES at about 20 km from Rousillon, to visit the Vasarely muzeum, only to find out that it had been closed a few months before! You have catched very well the crazy impressions that come over you in the middle of these un-earthy surroundings.
I think we have been going often to the same places: I seem to remember that your first upload was about Najac, where I passed through and had a splendid lunch in the summer of 2005. Another typical charming little village and there are hundreds like that in France, for instance also Pont-en-Royan my favourite) which you can admire in that splendid VERCORS slideshow by Patrick Cleyren
