A poet relates the story of how the promise of wealth and fame tempted him into turning his back on his muse, forgetting the truth and beauty at the heart of his craft.

A short film made Slamdance film Festival as part of their $99 special program. I used a combination of marionette puppetry, stop motion and drawn animation along with some digital trickery.

  • No, No! You are an eternal spirit soul. Just waiting to connect with the Supreme Godhead in pure love. The frailties of this world are but a blessing in disguise.. Meant to show us that this world of matter cannot satisfy. Arise and chant the Holy Names of God and be happy again. Truly happy. Forever....

Excellent story and narration. I was once a good athlete in my youth and society went bezerk on me and then I dropped it completely and pursued arts. I don't think I can make art for money even. Thanks!

The film was really a labour of love, so to know that other people appreciate it is extremely gratifying.
