Smooth Cam Test
This is my first crack at trying out the "smooth cam" filter from Shake. I'm a complete newbie at it (Shake) and need all the help and hints I can get.
One thing I notice right off the bat with this is the "ghosting" or "blending" like glitches that happen through this clip. If you download my original file it's much more clear to see.
I assume that they are the times where the camera moves or jolts the most in the shot, probably me taking harder steps or something. Is there a way to remedy this?

I tried using the one right from within Final Cut but it took FOREVER to analyze. While it was analyzing I jumped into Shake and finished the shot and plopped it right back into my timeline.
Why? I have no idea.
The workaround is to export the section you want and re-import it.
However I use this filter for Premiere cs3 called 2d3 steadymove pro and it does the same thing, if you want good quality shoot footage to be stabilized in HD and then render it out as SD after stabilizing it and you wont see a degradation of quality.
