It was 106 when we started out in Yuma, AZ.
It was 40 degrees when we finished for the night in Julian, CA.
ALong the way, we ran out of gas twice. Wound up at the Mexico border by accident. Our so called frontage road was nothing more than gravel.
But, we were rescued and given gas, food and lodging by very cool strangers.
Treat strangers like friends and just might make some!
