Thanks. It was a mix of analog and digital magic. I blocked out my half of the projected image with a DVD case at the projector.
The lighting on me was pretty bad. To overcome this in Premire, I placed a copy of the clip on a higher layer, changed both layers to black and white, cropped my opaque half, then adjusted the brightness/contrast till they matched pretty seemlessly.
It was a quick project. Now, I can do much better next time.
