Cotton Jones Basket Ride - I Was 17 (Starflyer 59 Cover)
I had the privilege of filming Michael Nau (Page France, Cotton Jones Basket Ride) play this incredible cover of "I Was 17" by Starflyer 59. My brother and Indigenous Productions co-producer, Brandon Poe, helped out on the second camera.

Matts Videos 10 months agoThat audio is fantastic. There was no mic in use? What kind of camera and what amount of lighting? I have a Starflyer 59/Joy Electric channel over on that other video site. -
Timothy Ryan Poe 10 months agoWe used a shotgun mic on a boom stand, a JVC GY-HD110U, and a handheld shop lamp from Home Depot for the lighting. -
Matts Videos 10 months agoThat really does the job. I figured it had to be an expensive camera because cheap cameras can't capture video in low light. The audio sounds like it's straight out of the studio. Nice work. There was an article about a guy who makes a living with his online video and all he uses is an expensive Canon camera, a fabric backdrop for a green screen and some lights from Home Depot. It gives me hope. -
Rebecca Thomas Snyder 6 months agoReally well done. The beauty of the song comes through.
