This is the first footage I've shot and edited. I hit a slight problem at the export stage. I followed all the instructions I could find, but the file sizes I was ending up with were far to big. I have now got this file size to around 128MB by having just 2500kbps. I'll hopefully solve this problem soon...
This video is the end result of me following the band 'Halves' around on the release day of their latest EP (however the song does not appear on said EP). It is footage from their live instore in Tower Records, their soundcheck, their backstage 'antics' (if trying to play John Williams tunes is accepted as an 'antics') and the live performance edited together. Some of it worked well but there are dodgy bits and a notable dip towards the end. As i said though, it's the first thing I've ever shot so I'm pretty happy with it despite that. :) And thanks to Halves who were kind enough not to punch me in the face when I stuck a camera in theirs...

oakridge, i'm using final cut pro, though the only editing i did was cutting footage around. i don't even remember what settings i used to export. they were eugenia's for the most part, but changing it to 2500kbps.
*thumbs up*
Oh, and if you hit the little 'reply to this comment' thingy, it emails the people that you've responded to them :) I didn't see that there for a while too - I think everyone misses it at first :P
Keep up the awesome work :)
