Just two shots from last weekend.

Miramar Shopping Mall was opened in 2004. The ferris wheel is 95 meters high and is currently the tallest (second-largest in diameter) in Taiwan. It's one of the most popuar dating places in the city.

There was a heavy rain 15 minutes ago before the shooting, which cleaned the air a bit.

    Amazing Music?

    Who composed it?

    How's it going, Derek?

The track was cited at the end.

Awesome choice of location. Lots of lights. Love the elevators. Love the angle too with the card in the foreground.

I love this time lapse. Music, angle, light, everything is just right.

It inspired me to go out and make my own but alas my frame rate in my S5700 is too slow... 1 frame per 1.3 seconds... Sucks

  • Jason Chen 3 months ago
I don't know about S5700's abilities but these two shots were shot at 1 frame every 2 seconds. It shouldn't be too hard for S5700.

Your tests look ok. You might want to drag your shutter further to get a smoother motion.

    Thanks Jason,

My issue is that I am sorta new to photography and I am not sure about the concept of dragging the shutter speed? Should I make the SS longer or is there something else I am missing?
  • Jason Chen 3 months ago
The idea of using a longer shutter speed is to smooth out the motion of moving objects (motion blur), thus making the video easier on the eyes.

Here is an informative tutorial on digitalartwork.net ( digitalartwork.net/video-stories/ ). It's at the bottom of the playlist.
