    those mask edges are pretty sharp and obvious. i'd go with some footage of ink stains or something and do a luma matte reveal instead. would help it look more like it's actually liquid staining something, as opposed to just a flat wipe...

    Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. This is my first project, ever. I'm very much new to this and any kind of help is wanted, I am going to try the luma matte reveal with some footage, I'll see what happens.
