This is just a simple matrix of shapes with video textures mapped to them. In order to get the "black of your video clips to dissapear and only the colors and whites to appear, as in this example, use the following alpha settings n your object:

DEPTH TOGGLE: OFF
TOP ALPHA MENU: S ALPHA
BOTTOM ALPHA MENU: ONE

Also, use diffuse lighting between 25-50 % and specular lighting between 75-100 percent on the default light (#1)
