I was required to observe a student during an instrument flight, and asked my friend if it was alright to backseat. He was training in the Seminole at the time, our multi-engine trainer. This day happened to be particularly bumpy (and later was to result in the fatal crash of another one of our own), so this flight really made me appreciate things all the more.
