50 years ago today, my Mum and Dad had their wedding. They had the foresight to film the special occasion, which took place in Swansea, Wales.

Sadly, Mum passed away 11 years ago, but Dad's still going strong at 76 years old.

haha, i agree, he does look pretty suspect.
this is great though!one of the things i've been meaning to do is get some footage backed up from VHS from when i was a kid, and perhaps some of the old 8mm's my grandmother has from long ago. how did you go about getting these onto the computer steve?
  • SteveR plus 1 year ago
My Dad paid to have the 8mm tape transferred onto VHS tape about 11 years ago. I was able to convert it to a digital format by wiring my Canon camcorder to the VHS player and recording it directly onto digital tape.

    Priceless.
The confetti application was rather intrusive I thought.

Nice of Marilyn Monroe and Jack Lemon to take a break from filming Some Like It Hot to throw confetti at your parents wedding.

What was your involvement in this video? As it is not clearly stated.
  • SteveR plus 9 months ago
I attended as a foetus. Due to rare medical condition, I had a three year gestation period.
