Shot in 2004 in B4 republic on Kodak VISION 800asa expired in 2002.
Shot with a BOLEX SBM super16 and double perforated 16mm film.

  • Awww this was cute. Oh noes! I laughed pretty hearty in the beginning. The shot through the fishbowl is awesome!

    Wow man I really like this, would you say that it was the expiration which made the film so saturated or is the 800ASA stock just naturally so inclined?
  • Actually I think it was something of both, (the film had been frozen immediately after it had been bought, and been kept in the freezer until 2 days before shooting). But probably it was more the expiration combined with the cheapest telecine we could get at Augustus Color in Rome.
    The 800 ASA has not been available for a very long time, and Kodak has not released a new one...

    Oh right, cheers. That's to bad about the stock, I haven't found any 16mm stock which I really like. This one clearly have really crazy colors which would be kind of what I'm looking for.
