As spring turns to summer on the Dakota Prairie it is possible to see two of the most unusual coutship performances in the bird world. Here they are, the stomping dance of a Sharp-tailed Grouse, and the water-walking "rush" of the Western Grebe. And all the while the air is filled with the delicate songs of the "Prairie Bells".
