An updated version of my Crowd Test for TGB. This version includes full clothing and skin color randomizer. This current build can handle around 5000 objects on screen at around 20 FPS. This version destroys each object once it runs off screen and a new one is created to replace it. This is where the processing bottleneck is for TGB. I will do an updated version that moves the objects back to start once it is off screen to see if the FPS improves...

    Wow, very impressive crowd. Are you doing the color variation with just blending? Cool stuff.

    Yes, I'm using setBlendColor(); both on each layer of the each runner and I've also got a 2x2 checkerboard in the background using the same function plus some layer manipulation and fading to achieve the background transition. The full details are at:
