there are ways out.

it may not be much light but
it beats the darkness.

the gods will offer you chances.
know them.
take them.
you can’t beat death but
you can beat death in life, sometimes.
and the more often you learn to do it,
the more light there will be.
your life is your life.
know it while you have it.
you are marvelous
the gods wait to delight
in you.

la teva vida és la teva vida
no deixis que s'enfonsi en una indolent submissió.
estigues a l'aguait.
n'hi ha sortides.
n'hi ha una llum en algun lloc.
potser no és molta la llum però
venç la foscor.
estigues a l'aguait.
els déus t'oferiran oportunitats.
coneix-la.
agafa-la.
no pots vèncer la mort però
pots vèncer la mort en vida, de vegades.
i quan més a sovint aprenguis a fer-ho,
més llum n'hi haurà.
