interlaced it is ;-D your actors (especially the girl from the begining) delivers a very good performance, a shame you didnt use a DOF-adapter (letus) and a tripod, would gave the whole movie a more professional look. looking forward to see more :-D

Yes, the interlacing is a problem. This is not intended to be, nor will it be, the final product, just a snapshot in the production cycle as we shoot this independent film. The film, in post will be edited in Final Cut Pro. This is just intended to open a window on what it's like to be close up on shooting an independent film, documentary style. We did in fact use Manfrotto sticks for the first scene. The decision to go handheld in the bookstore were ones made by film school trained pros now working in the film business and not amatuers, my DP and Director and I stand by those decisions but appreciate your input. Dave and Andrew had reasons for those decisions that have to do with the overall film, not a rough clip on Vimeo so I respect what they did and as the producer and screenwriter, I trust them. Kristina Johnson is the actress you are referring to, Mr. Vasquez. She was incredible and recently closed a much admired play "The Ballad of Emmit Till" at the Goodman Theatre here in Chicago. Getting her to be in our film honors us beyond anything we could do for Kristina.

I don't have Final Cut Pro yet and I am using I Movie HD to edit the documentary clips. I used the export settings suggested by Vimeo.
