I invented a new way to tie your karate belt. This is based on the Fisherman's knot also known as the True Lover's knot. My new method has the advantages that you do not need to adjust the centre when you start tying, the knot will self bind itself so it can't come undone, you set the minimum tightness and it's great for longer belts.
