Testing using Orion's TeleTrack to create slow panning time lapse video. The footage taken from indoors is subpar, but the test was a success ;-) Takin' this baby outside soon, for sure.

Oops, yup.

Camera: Canon Powershot A620 CHDK firmware [Jucifer's private build tinyurl.com/5rh3dr] vine's time lapse script [with modifications by me tinyurl.com/68tupq]

Mount: Orion TeleTrack, altazimuth mount, artificially set to "North Pole" setting (i.e., latitude 90deg N), in 8x tracking mode.

Exposures: 3sec/shot for c. 70 minutes, made into a movie with QuickTime Pro at 30fps.
