glad you like it. It was mostly chance. I shot the whole thing and I'd put a goldberg variation smashee on ... well yesterday's version... when I heard the floyd thing on my ipod I suddenly realized they were riffing off Miles Davis' kind of blue and I know that his chords Layer over eachother really nicely in a smashee (I did a bunch using kind of blue.. who is the pianist on that album, its escaping me... white dude.. junkie....hmmm)...anyways it worked! and enough soul in the drum to work with dancing santa.... that was a complete fluke...just five or six layers of the track that I visually qued to any large patch of video is a sea off stills and when I played it back the drum breaks matched his dance breaks to a t. Ahhh sweeet flukes.

Bill Evans was the pianist on Kind of Blue. One of my favorite piano players.

right thanks... brain fart.... couldn't get it and too lazy to google... I was watching a doc on the making of dark side where Rick Wakeman (i think that's floyd'd keyborad guy) was talking about a chord modulation that evans did on kind off blue he was noodling it at Abbey road and when Rodger heard him screwing around with it, he went, what now? do that again and the song was born. I'm not sure if it was the song I used, "TIME" but I hear a lot of Miles stuff in this (particularly when you layer it up like I did)... sort of "in a silnet way" vibe.

    Blah blah.

When are we walking? Where should we walk? Maybe Dyker Heights xmas lights. I have no idea where Dyker Heights is which is almost enough reason to go there.
