OAR Today is a monthly 30 minute show about issues that face offenders, offenders themselves, and the work that OAR does with offenders reentering the community in Arlington County and Cities of Alexandria and Falls Church and providing Court Mandated Community Service hours. The show’s host Dr. Gail Arnall, OAR's Executive Director, conducts three interviews: 1st interview with a special guest that provides information about sex offenders, the myths and misconceptions, as well as tips for parents on how to keep children safe, the 2nd interview is an OAR Client who is coming out of a prison or a detention center, and the 3rd interview with Katy Steinbruck, Sage Flowers Store Manager, who demonstrates how to make flower arrangements. Throughout the show there are factoids and statistics that are important for the community to know when it comes to ex-offenders and the criminal justice system.
