Better Lighting on the Cheap
I got tired of shooting video with inconsistent lighting. So I bought a couple halogen shop lights. Each bulb is 500W. Careful. These lights are extremely bright, hot and cheap. Never, never, never, ever, never touch the glass of a halogen bulb with your fingers.
A telescoping stand with two lights retails for $50-$100. I bought these two on super sale somewhere for $25 each. Three settings per fixture: OFF, HALF, FULL.

WHOA! Maybe I should get a job writing the cheesey "uplifting" bits on the inside of birthday cards and such, I cannot see how that job would become depressing!
Seriously though, have a great one. Love Si x
A very Merry Christmas to you as well Master Simon.
I did not find the stands but found very cheap 500W lights - $5 per piece including the bulb. But only on and off and I had to make a stand myself. Made it in half an hour with 3 bamboo poles and a piece of wood :-)
