I was listening to NPR and heard this story covering the Olympic Trials here in Eugene. The NPR story focused on Amy Begley, the runner who gutted out a third place finish in the 10,000 meter Final last night at Hayward Field. Listening to the story, I remembered that I had taken some pictures of this race, and as luck would have it, I had some video of the exciting finish. Seems that there was a big group of Amy Begley fans about 4-5 rows in front of us, which made the finish all the more exciting. I didn't take the two pictures at the end, obviously. I found those online.
