Interactive installation by Timo Toots and Eve Arpo. A site-specific wordplay about mistaken words in Estonian and Finnish language. Interaction through four pedals.
Finnish and Estonian languages share words that are the same, but differ in meaning. The wordplay asks visitor meanings of 10 words from the other language visualized as graphical icons. The question is “What does Finnish word KOPSU mean in Estonian?” or vice versa. It was made for exhibition of Finland's 90th birthday. More info about the exhibition timo.dart.ee.
