For decades, Ken Glidewell's deep voice introduced music on the radio and — as a band member — his fingers played it on a bass guitar around the world.

The 48-year-old Hamilton man's life was cut short the morning of Tuesday, May 27, 2008 when he died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident the day before.
Glidewell, better known as Mr. K on WEBN Cincinnati, lost control while riding his motorcycle in Brookville Ind....Mr K succumbed to internal bleeding Tuesday morning.
While he loved his motorcycle music was Glidewell's life, so much so that he named his dog Lyric.

Glidewell played bass and wrote songs for several bands, including Chem Dyne, Big in Iowa and the Tequila Kings.

Consequently, Glidewell became a staple of the local Cincinnati music scene and toured Europe a number of times with Big In Iowa.
