Very nice. What camera did you use?
  • You Me and Iowa 1 year ago
It was shot on a Panavision 35mm film camera.
  •
  • Very well put together with an excellent understanding of photography & light - must have been costly using 35mm film though as a good HD cam such as the Sony EX1 or EX3 would have given just as good a result, in fact better HD overall, unless the big screen was in mind for this production?

Freaking awesome! And that's all I'm going to say. If I say any more I will ramble on and on, and it won't make any sense.

What was the reason for having the back drop in two sheets? Was there a purpose for the line it created?

absolutely fantastic. I'm still confounded as to how you had so many people going in different directions! I can only imagine how many takes it took to get this right!

How did you do the trick then?
  • Anthony Meadows plus 1 year ago
You're not supposed to ask a magician how they did their trick...but...seeing as Matthew isn't a magician...HOW DID YOU DO THAT?
  • You Me and Iowa 1 year ago
    smoke and mirrors
  • Alfonso GJ 1 year ago
Heh, I prefer doing it digitally then... It must be very puzzling

That is some nice 7/8 time.

Here is my guess as to how it is made: no conveyor belt, but rather the backdrop and the camera are moved together in a larger room, similar to the "Virtual Insanity" music video.

    In any case, good job.

Really nice! Normally i bail out once i get the taste of the clip . . . i watched the whole slip this time due to the infectious groove and the confounding effect. Looking forward to the featurette.

it is my professional opinion that Matthew doesn't like editing.

I really enjoyed both the song and the video. Good to hear some fun music in something other than 4/4.

Awesome video and song! I loved them both. How many takes did you have to do before this final one where everything seemed to work perfectly?
