Bobby Previte and Benton-C Bainbridge present excerpts from DIALED IN at EMPAC's "Custom Control" Festival in Troy, New York. October 27, 2007.

DIALED IN is a collection of music movies, presented as a live audiovisual performance. For "Custom Control", Previte and Bainbridge worked with EMPAC to develop the 'video-as-lighting' stage show. In performance, Benton-C controls 3 channels of video from a custom hardware/software system - 2 of the channels are fed to video projectors which light Previte and Bainbridge on stage. The duo is currently taking this approach to another level, using Video Mirror System projectors to further blur the disciplines of time-based arts: music as video, video as lighting, and lighting as performer.
