cheers Mark. This is the first footage of "One Nightshift" I have shown. Think it is a nice little teaser. Did you notice the little London eye shot I used that I did when we were out together?

hello phil, i ve been in the tv news industry for a few years, but i , ve never seen so beautifuk colors, how you do that? is it in post production? after effects? and i would like to ask you wich software do you use to edit, i ve been working for premiere for almost 10 years, every one tells me thar final cut it s better, i ve been triyng to change, but i cant see anything better in fcp, and with premiere i go much faster on my edit work, can we have your advice about that ? edit with premiere or fcp
    regards
ps. i love your work and i m not that talented...but i wish, but when i see your work you give me some ideas... i m your fan

Great work, quality and good use of magic bullet. My favourite is the tramway. I like the movement of the picture. How did you do stabilize the picture? with a tripod or did you shoot handeld?

Ok, I'm dating myself now but in the time before MTV there were records and TV. (remember records) Anyway, I'd turn down the TV sound and put on a record. The random images, the music, and a little something for the head created a living piece of art.

Your art is so wonderful to watch and enjoy. It's like old times, minus the head food. (had to stop that stuff).

    Thank you.

damn! this is like a feast to the eyes, my friend :]
thank you for sharing your work with us :]

gotta ask, how would u do that smooth timelapse, especially in the city? it seems so tough sometimes to have all that patience...plus...i bet youre quite concerned about people that might move your camera and ruin it all :]
  •
  • Philip Bloom 2 months ago
as much as I love timelapse i hate filming it. My timelapses rarely last more than 20 minutes. I try and just steer people away from camera!

Dang Philip, your footage absolutely Rocks! Definitely something for me to strive for, now if I only could get Letus to drop the price of the Ultimate...wishful thinking.
Great work mate, cheers and God's Blessing to you.

Wow Phil, this re-edit is like a night and day transition from the first version. This highlights your talents so much better. Rhythm and pacing in the piece is spot on.

    Nice job.

after looking over your work i think to myself, am i the only one who likes when people spike the lense? It has this surreal type look to it, especially when overcranking.
    great work philip.

Great work Philip. Heard about the HVRZ7U but am questioning the price compared to the EX1. Are both same in quality or is there a difference in image quality? Thanks for all your info. Peace out!
  • Philip Bloom 2 months ago
huge difference and much has been written about it. explaining pricing etc. EX1 is a professional camera accepted by HD broadcasters. Z7 is not fully accepted. Dont forget media costs on EX1
