The left fan in my 15" MacBook Pro has been making horrible grinding/rattling noises for quite a while now, particularly when it's spinning fast during processor-intensive tasks. So it was time to change it!

After a slightly embarrassing mishap of buying the wrong fan, and only finding that out once I had dismantled the computer and removed the old fan (!!), this time I bought the right one, and everything worked out properly. :)

The video was taken with my Canon Powershot G9 in Time-Lapse mode at 1 frame/second.
