Frame Differencing Tricks with Processing
1 year ago
This is a custom effect written in Processing to explore a few ideas with videos. It was originally designed to create an automatic and live "sequence" from a bit of film mimicking those found in skate magazines. It shows Christian trying to write his name on his bike. The user chooses a "reference frame" and every new frame in the video is compared to that reference frame, it only draws the pixels that are different than the reference frame by some user-defined tolerance limit.
