On July 5, 2008 WVZ Zoetermeer swimming club celebrated their 40th anniversary. Coincidentally it was also the date that my daughter took her graduation swimming test. She's successfully attained her swimming diploma for Group A. And no, that's not her in the video - just if you were thinking! ;)
Special for the occasion, the club displayed some demonstrations on various activities and training which is conducted there. But what mesmerized the crowd most was of course this bunch of synchronized swimmers. How could I resist?
I wish I had asked for the original audio clip to do soundtrack overlay, but I guess its also better off as 'LIVE' footage. Enjoy the splash!

These girls are not human. They had gills the last time I checked.
I think synchronized swimming has to be one of the most demanding sports - these girls are awesome.
