"In Guatemala many families cannot afford to send their children to school, as school means fees, books and uniforms. Jardin de Amor is a free school where pencils, books and even lunch are provided and a uniform is not required. The school is funded by donations and helpers are always welcome. For kids who come here it means an opportunity to escape the poverty cycle. This is where I have been doing volunteer work. Within the film you will see a series of still shots. The children took these themselves. None of them had ever held a camera before."
