NEXT-GENE20 (next-gene20.com) is the project promoted by Genuine Development Asset Management Co. Ltd. and aimed at the realization of a qualified residential complex located in the Northeast Coast National Scenic Area, 50 minutes from Taipei, Taiwan. In order to reach its objective of maximum quality, NEXT-GENE20 involved 20 architects coming from Taiwan and from the rest of the world. By means of this operation, Tai-Nien Lu (Chairman of Genuine Development Asset Management Co. Ltd.), with the coordination of Yu-Tung Liu (Professor at the Graduate Institute of Architecture of National Chiao Tung University), intends to set the premises for a productive dialogue between real estate development and architectural experimentation. Started in the fall of 2007, NEXT-GENE20 has scheduled the beginning of construction for July 2008. The houses will be ready and up for sale by December 2009.
