First attempts at filming Dirtsurfing using a Steadicam Merlin . These shots are all taken running alongside the rider with the Merlin hand held stabilisation device. The audio picks up that there was a moderate wind when these shots were taken.
This is a fantastic device which needs a lot more skill than I currently have to master, but the results so far have been very pleasing.
